five months

I realize that next week is Isla’s 6 month birthday, but alas, here I am, posting her 5 month photos.

Side note: I finally took a hint from our professional photographer Jen Fox and moved these photos to our bedroom where there’s better light. I think it helped a lot, although I’m still no great photographer, I’m hoping to remedy that situation with my Christmas list.

Anyway…here are Isla’s 5 month photos…

Our little Isla Girl is feeling not so little these days. She’s almost 13 lbs. and 25.5 inches. She is quite the chatterbox and wiggler. She’s rolling from her back to front and kicking around trying to move herself forward. She’s working on sitting alone but can hold herself up for a few seconds before tumbling over. She loves to laugh and has the amazing talent of sucking on her toes when she’s lying on her back. She loves being outside in her stroller, going down slides and meeting other babies and friends. She’s teething a bit, but no teeth bumps yet. Isla took her first flight to Minnesota this month to meet her Aunt Amy, Uncle Mark and lots of other friends and family. It was quite the trip and she was a trooper as we toted her all around the Twin Cities.

We love you Baby Girl, we love seeing you grow up and learn new things about the world every day!

  1. What a sweetie! I love her smile. Your monthly photos of Isla are beautiful.
I have started capturing Victory’s growth with you as my inspiration – dressing her in a long sleeve white onesie with her quilt as the background πŸ™‚
